WHERE I SHINE

Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJMD) scholarship

I was awarded the Erasmus+ Scholarship for EMJMD in Medical Imaging and Application.

I am done with my 1st semester at the Université de Bourgogne in France, I recently started my 2nd semester will be at the Università degli Studi di Cassino e del Lazio Meridionale, in Italy, and for my 3rd semester, I will be going to the Universitat de Girona in Spain. Finally, the 4th semester is dedicated to my master’s thesis in any of the universities of the consortia or collaborating institutions (research centers, universities, or companies) working in the field of medical imaging and its applications around the world.

UNIVERSITY UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

I was awarded and recognized by the University of Ilorin as the best student in the Department of Biomedical Engineering for four consecutive academic sessions, 2016/2017, 2017/2018, 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 academic sessions respectively. This is an award presented annually by the university to the student with the highest CGPA in each level and department and by this award, I am entitled to be styled ‘UNIVERSITY SCHOLAR’.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AND ALTRUISTIC LEADERSHIP AWARD

I was awarded by the National Association of Ebira Students (NAES), University of Ilorin Chapter for selfless leadership while maintaining academic excellence during my tenure as the 2019/2020 academic session NAES President. I was also awarded as the student of the year in 2019.

BEST RESEARCHER AND PRESENTER AWARD

I was the overall Winner, Academic Elite of Ebiraland (AEE) award for best researcher and presenter at a presentation competition designed to bring novel ideas/policies to improve the educational standards of the country (Nigeria). The competition hosted representatives from more than 10 different universities in Nigeria.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARD

I was awarded and recognized by the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Unilorin chapter as an NSBE Scholar. This award was a result of continued academic excellence and upholding NSBE mission statement to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

BEST GRADUATING STUDENT IN SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY

I graduated as the best student in the department of Science Laboratory Technology, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja in 2015. I was awarded National Diploma (ND) certificate in Science Laboratory Technology. ( WES iGPA: 3.68/4.00)
